Matty "Knuckles" Burke - Steven Lowes

Steven Lowes was born and raised in the East End of Newcastle. He came back to acting in his fifties after many years, and trained with The Actor’s Forge in Newcastle. Since then he has performed in The Club – A CIU Story, You Need To Say Sorry, appeared on stage at the first two Durham Fringe Festivals and at Northern Stage. Away from the stage, he has appeared in a number of short films.

Steven has written a number of screenplays including Outside The Box, Knuckleheeds, PIGS and Within.

Ted "The Hammer" Hazzard - James Craister

Local lad James is an actor who studied the arts from an early age, then returned to train at The Theatre Royal, Newcastle. He later moved on to become a founder-member of award-winning Newcastle acting school, The Actor’s Forge.

James has performed in theatre at Durham Fringe Festival, Northern Stage and at The People’s Theatre, as well as live performance with audience participation. James has recently been involved in a number of short films, an area of work that he is increasingly more involved in.

Tarquin Moreau - Wayne C. McDonald

Wayne is a Newcastle based Actor/DJ currently studying with Identity School of Acting. Last year Wayne successfully debuted on the London Fringe as Dennis in ‘Dennis of Penge’. He made his stage directorial debut in ‘The Boy With The Pink Scarf’ at Newcastle’s Alphabetti Theatre. He is also a writer, published poet, music producer and his hugely influential black music ‘Sugar Radio Show’ is syndicated to radio stations globally.

Laurence Savena - Silver

Silver is a stage and screen actor as well as a writer. He’s had parts in many short films, as well as roles in a number of locally produced TV shows and feature films. Born and bred in Newcastle, he always lends some authenticity to the Geordie roles he plays.

For Knuckleheeds,  Silver adapted his own character, Laurence, into the character for the role with Knuckleheeds writer, Steven Lowes.
