WITHIN - Audition Workshop
Agenda
We’ll be running from 6pm to 9pm, but we’d like to be underway for 6 so if you can arrive in time to do any prep beforehand, that’ll be ideal. Any time after 5.30pm is good, but not before please, as we don’t have access to the room until then.
We’ll be doing some warm up things to start to get everyone loosened up and comfortable. You shouldn’t have nerves for these sessions as they really are easy going, plus, for WITHIN, there isn’t even any lines to remember . . . or forget.
Once we’re all feeling relaxed we’ll get cracking with some things more specific to the film. The film contains very little dialogue so, as mentioned previously, we need to have strong visual characteristics. The film builds psychological tension as it progresses so if you have a “look” then bring it along with you and feel free to bring your own ideas and work with us in development. We do like to make it feel like a collaboration.
Refreshments
There’ll be drinks (cans, water etc) and snacks (crisps, chocolate bars and probably more sugar than you should really have) there for you to help yourself to while you’re with us. To be honest, there could be absolutely anything there, but if you’re dashing from work to come along there’ll be plenty to keep yourself going.
